Wendy J. Demoracski, a patent attorney at Sunstein LLP, has been appointed as co-chair of the Internet and Technology Law Committee, part of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Boston Bar Association (BBA).
Wendy has over 13 years of experience as a software engineer in industries including defense, computer networking and cybersecurity, telecommunications, and image processing. Her hands-on experience includes developing various types of software, such as drivers, operating systems, applications, and user interfaces, and using different programming languages. Wendy earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
The BBA’s Internet and Technology Law Committee focuses on information technology topics including software licensing, cybersecurity, data protection and sharing, free speech on the internet, and legal issues related to cloud computing. Discussions and programming cover all facets of IP law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.
