Arlington Resident Recognized Among Top Female Attorneys

The Mass Lawyers Weekly's Top Women of Law Top Women of Law celebrates the achievements of exceptional women lawyers.

Arlington resident Lisa M. Tittemore, partner and litigation chair at Sunstein LLP, has been named a "Top Women of Law: 2020 Circle of Excellence" by Mass Lawyers Weekly and will be recognized with this highest honor at the publication's annual top women of law celebration.

The Mass Lawyers Weekly's Top Women of Law Top Women of Law celebrates the achievements of exceptional women lawyers who are pioneers, educators, trailblazers, and role models. The Circle of Excellence recognizes female attorneys who have been previously honored as top women, but whose continuing achievements merit additional recognition.

"Lisa is incredibly deserving of this honor. She always puts the client first and goes the extra mile to provide clear, concise advice, and strong innovative advocacy. She is an experienced, committed, and decisive litigator and inspiring leader," Kerry Timbers, managing partner of Sunstein, sdaid in a Nov. 19 news release.

"In our firm, in the legal community, and in the Boston community, Lisa is an unwavering leader and voice for diversity and social justice, a strong mentor for young attorneys and others, and is dedicated to working closely with other members of the bar and judiciary to improve the justice system."

Super Lawyers also recently recognized Tittemore on their 2020 Massachusetts Super Lawyers list, an honor based on peer review and professional achievements. Only five percent of the lawyers in Massachusetts are selected to receive this recognition annually.

At Sunstein, a premier and nationally recognized intellectual-property law firm, she is the most senior female partner and chair of the firm's Litigation Practice Group, as well as a member of the Executive Committee.

Tittemore has served as lead counsel, on behalf of local, regional, national, and international companies, in significant patent, trademark, and copyright litigation in federal courts throughout the United States. Her extensive experience in intellectual property matters and providing strategic counsel on both domestic and international issues, guides both the firm's and her efforts to protect and enforce their clients' valuable brands and ideas.
