Sunstein Client Badge Recognized with “Disrupt 8” Award at Global Cyber Innovation Summit (GCIS)

Sunstein is proud to congratulate client Badge on their receipt of the “Disrupt 8” award at the Global Cyber Innovation Summit (GCIS). The award is presented to eight early-stage innovators for demonstrating significant promise in the development of disruptive innovation in cybersecurity.

Badge was among the select group of startup companies selected to speak at the invitation-only summit about industry issues and how their 20-year breakthrough in cryptography is advancing the next layer of identity for the internet.

“Congratulations to Badge inventors Charles Herder, Ph.D., and Tina Srivastava, Ph.D., whose inventions are transforming how individuals are authenticated in the computer environment,” said Sunstein’s Founder Bruce Sunstein. “It has been a singular honor working with Charles and Tina to protect their technology, which works rapidly without regard to the computer platform and using biometric data in a fully privacy-preserving manner that does not store or expose a user’s personal information or likeness.”

The GCIS brings together preeminent Global CISO executives, cyber technology innovators, policy thought leaders, and members of the cyber investment community with the goal of creating more efficient and effective cyber defenses.
