This April 1st event is organized by New England Law's Black Law Students Association in partnership with the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, featuring Dr. Cornell West.

The event will two attendance options: virtual and in-person.

Truth, though sometimes traumatic, painful, and raw, can evolve to hope. As students, our community has come to a point where we recognize the truth surrounding our circumstances. Some of us have been moved to acknowledge this truth. To call it by its name. To remove the hold it has on us, so that truth can evolve to the hope we seek. Hope evolves into action. Action is needed to engineer a different truth for those who succeed us. Separately, it is the responsibility of those with privilege to recognize how their actions and inaction affect the marginalized.
