Lisa M. Tittemore Named to Boston Museum of Science Board of Advisors

Sunstein is delighted to announce that Lisa M. Tittemore, a partner and chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice, has been appointed to serve on the Boston Museum of Science Board of Advisors. The 17 new Advisors were formally announced by the Museum of Science here.

“I am honored to be serving the science community and the larger community overall all in this new role, especially as the Museum serves as both a global resource and a local treasure,” said Lisa, who was also recently named to the Museum’s Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Initiative Committee.

“I have loved this Museum since I was a child and regularly brought my children and their friends to the Museum when they were little. More recently, I have appreciated the Museum’s extensive adult programming. I look forward to serving as a Museum ambassador in a more formal capacity. I am excited to help this incredible institution drive its mission forward.”

The Museum’s Board of Advisors ensures that the Museum has the resources, leadership and strategies necessary to fulfill its mission and vision. Advisors represent a cross-section of Boston’s community, including leaders from academia, professional services, healthcare, finance and more.

“Each new class of Trustees and Advisors forms the next link in a chain of leadership that goes back to 1830. They, like the ones who have served before, help the Museum stay relevant to the world we live in,” said Board of Trustees Chair Alexis Borisy in the Museum’s press release. “As the Museum of Science responds to the needs of the communities we serve, our Trustees and Advisors play a vital role in helping the Museum listen to and understand those communities.”

A member of Sunstein’s management committee and chair of its litigation group, Lisa serves as lead counsel in patent, trademark and copyright litigation in federal courts throughout the United States. She provides strategic counsel to clients on domestic and international issues and helps to guide the firm’s efforts in protecting and enforcing clients’ valuable brands and ideas.
