Lisa M. Tittemore Reappointed to AIPLA Amicus Committee

Sunstein LLP is pleased to announce that Lisa M. Tittemore, a partner and chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice, has been reappointed to the Amicus Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) for another three-year term.

“We congratulate Lisa on her ongoing service to the AIPLA and its mission to support IP professionals and advance an effective and balanced IP system,” said Sunstein Managing Partner Kerry L. Timbers.

Members of the AIPLA Amicus Committee are appointed by the President-Elect of AIPLA. As a member of the Amicus Committee, Lisa helps to identify cases that may have a significant impact on IP law or practice. The Committee considers requests for amicus participation from others pursuant to the Committee's Rules of Procedure, and recommends to the AIPLA Board that the organization should file amicus briefs when they see fit.

Lisa brings to the Amicus Committee her experience as lead counsel in patent, trademark and copyright litigation in federal courts throughout the United States. Lisa provides strategic counsel to clients on domestic and international issues and guides the firm’s efforts in protecting and enforcing clients’ valuable brands and ideas, and is a member of Sunstein’s Management Committee.

Founded in 1897, AIPLA is a national bar association constituted primarily of practitioners in private and corporate practice, in government service, and in the academic community. AIPLA represents a wide and diverse spectrum of individuals from law firms, companies, and institutions involved directly or indirectly in the practice of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition law, as well as other fields of law affecting intellectual property.
