Meet Sharona Sternberg


Q: What three words would your friends and family use to describe you?

A: Thoughtful, empathetic, and decisive.

Q: What is an accomplishment you’re most proud of?

A: Becoming a partner at Sunstein the year my fourth child was born.

Q: What has been your hardest obstacle to overcome and how did you overcome it?

A: Work/life balance with four kids – still a work in progress, but being at a great and supportive firm helps!

Meet Lisa Tittemore

Q: What is an accomplishment you’re most proud of?

A: Helping GoodWeave and its important work to end child labor.

Q: What piece of advice would you give to a young professional starting their career?

A: Find work you enjoy! Find people who support you.

Q: What has been your hardest obstacle to overcome and how did you overcome it?

A: Overcoming other people’s expectations, overcoming bias against women litigators, climbing Mt. Merapi in Indonesia.

Meet Alana Maddox

Q: What are you most passionate about?

A: Fairness and truth. I think it’s why I’m so fascinated by politics and the legal system.

Q: What is an accomplishment you’re most proud of?

A: Working full-time processing payroll while finishing college full-time at night – I still don’t know how I did it. I’d work all day, take the T home to get my car and then drive 45 mins to Bridgewater for classes all night. The energy of youth.

Q: Is there a specific quote that motivates you?

A: “If you want to be successful, you must respect one rule: never lie to yourself.” – Paulo Coelho


Meet Kathryn Noll

Q. What has been your hardest obstacle and how did you overcome it?

A. My hardest obstacle to overcome was having my first child while going to law school at night and working full-time as an engineer during the day. I had an incredibly supportive husband and mom, and I gave up sleep for 3 years.

Q. What is an accomplishment you’re most proud of?

A. Graduating from law school (see answer above), being named the first woman Patent Group Chair at Sunstein.

Q. What are you most passionate about?

A. Science and technology, my family, my garden, and almost all things Disney.

Meet Odette Martins

Q. Is there a specific quote that motivates you?

A. “There is no such thing as failure. Failure is just life trying to move us in another direction.” - Oprah

Q. What is an accomplishment you’re most proud of?

A. Becoming an attorney after years of hard work and schooling and finding a field of law that I am passionate about.

A. Prioritizing ones mental and physical health
